    What is Gordias?

So, I've cleared Alexander, but it's not clear what the word "Gordias" refers too. It is never mentioned in actual dialog, and doesn't actually appear in the duty finder names either. I mean, I understand the historical references to the gordian knot and Alexander the great, but I mean in terms of the in-game reference.

Alexander The Gordias sector is supposed to be the knot, and summoning a primal into its core was "cutting the knot"; the shortcut taken to powering the goblins' glorified mobile home.

For those that aren't aware of the reference, "Gordias" was likely taken from the Gordian Knot: a mythical knot associated with Alexander the Great which is impossible to untie; most often used as a metaphor for a problem which can only be solved by some method of cheating.

Since all of the zones of Alexander are named "...of the Father" I took it to be more a reference about the man Gordias and not his famous knot. After all his biggest claims to fame (...besides the knot) were being a father (to Midas, famous for turning everything he touched to gold) and founding a city, Gordium. Alexander is a a kind of walking city and is referenced to as a father.

I just wonder if the other arm is called the Midas Sector, and we'll be going through the Fist/Cuff/Arm/Burden of the Son in 3.2.

By the way, Cid's daddy was also named Midas. Just thought I'd mention it since it might turn out relevant after all.

I would expect mother for the other side.

    The center could be child/son/daughter.

actually, would make sense taking in mind Alexander's Holy attribute that is usually given in other games. in the holy trinity (father, son and holy spirit)(thou its not exactly the same positions, would actually make sense that the other are even called ''Midas- the fist/cuff/arm/burden of the son''

To be honest i think the same, but i feel if it was going to be like it really feel after all the holy trinity is defeated gordias will spread lights wings to sky and the real boss will show up( Kinda like the fight from FFIX)

So far Gordias/alexander is FAR,FAR much more underwhelming in the lore than in any of the games, and even on FFXIV he is far from showed to being a real threat at all, and knowing how alexander is usually one of the strongest beins in some FF, it relaly bugs me in his lore he being so weak to the point that the raid have a history that feels irrelevant.
