    MCH Crossbar/UI Layout

Anyone have MCH UI layout and cross hotbar (play with xbox one controller on pc) setup for optimal DPS?

How I see the new abilities:
Asylum - Get ready for my holy spam because that's the only healing you gonna get.
Aero III - I guess I should put some dots up before holy spamming.
Assize - I need more MP to spam holy even more, also stop getting hit in the face.
Tetragrammaton - I guess I should heal that tank now.
Stone III - There's less than 3 mobs left alive. - Ragns Meuhie

I'm not sure I would say mine is "optimal", but it works very well for me and my play style. I use the cross hotbar with expanded controls to avoid congestion. Anything that gives a debuff that enemies may or may not be immune to (heavy, silence, etc.), I have on a the expanded controls hotbar.

Lead Shot, Split Shot, Slug Shot, and Clean Shot are all lined up, while my AoEs are also all together on my cross hotbar. Any damage buffs that I can apply are on one quarter, and then ammo-related buffs are on another quarter. So it looks like this, starting from the top and going clockwise:

    SET I:

Left side: Quick Reload / Reload / Reassemble / Rapid Fire
Left side : Heartbreak / Raging Strikes and Hawk's Eye macro / Hot Shot / Wildfire

Right side: Blank and Foot Graze macro / Grenado Shot / Ricochet / Spread Shot
Right side: Split Shot / Slug Shot / Clean Shot / Lead Shot

R2 + L2 Left side: Silence / Heavy/ Bind/ Stun (I macro'd them to change the names so that I wouldn't be confused during combat)
R2 + L2 Right side: Limit Break / Gauss Barrel / Feint / Gauss Shot

    L2 + R2 Left side: Keen Flurry / Rend Mind / Hypercharge / Dismantle
    L2 + R2 Right side: Rook Autoturret / Bishop Autoturret / Promotion / Retrieval

My reasoning with the expanded controls was that, since my actual attacks are activated using the R2 side of my hotbar, my second attacks (such as Gauss Shot) should also be there for quick access. I'll already be holding that button if I need to quickly stun something, silence it, etc. Anything that I don't access as often is always on my left side, as well as on L2 + R2.

I also have a horizontal hotbar right above my cross hotbar for anything I couldn't fit in, but wasn't imperative (such as Quelling Strikes).

Again, this might not work for you, but I find that this setup keeps me busy and focused while still keeping things easily accessible. Hope that helps!

This is way more thought out than my bars. I will definitely give this a shot. Hoping to find a layout that would help ease the rotation of the hellashish OPENER we have yet keep the majority of my skills easily accessible.

Obligatory disclaimer that this layout suits me, and naturally a lot of the positions I have may look foreign to everyone else. But if posting mine helps somewhat then great :P
Note 1: I'm only level 55, but there are 3 comfortable spots free on my second bar as you can see. Mind Rend will go on L2+O, and Hypercharge R2+Up. Not sure about Ricochet, I'll probably put it on an extended hotbar with the icon visible at all times so I can see the cooldown
Note 2: ^I have Wildfire on an extended bar with the cooldown clear and visible in the bottom left, like I suggested I might do with Ricochet. No point having it on my main bar if it's not something I blow straight away, but I can also very easily weave it from extended bars when I have to.
Note 3: Because Head Graze and Supressive Fire share a cooldown, and most of the time you use Head because of the longer range, I put Supressive on the same position on my second bar, and quickly switch if the stun is preferred.
Note 4: Machinist is not my main job, if it were I'd probably shuffle even more skills from my secondary bar to the extended ones.

That is what I am trying to avoid. Even with my buffs on my extended bar, I tend to blow through them within 5 seconds of the pull so hoping to find a layout that keeps them mixed a bit, but in a logical layout to easily work and memorize the opener. Thanks for the suggestions
