    I'm proud of S.E.'s progression.

I am very pleased with the new patch, i understand that for those that want to breeze through till level 50 as they could before it may be an annoyance... however for people like me i am glad that S.E. has chosen to reward players interested in an mmorpg experience... not an offline rpg experience as i am reading from some of you. i do agree that they may have made us slightly weaker than what i had hoped without appropriate buff or adequate cure times to help support solo or party flow. i like where they are heading with the synthesis structure - i do not feel that synthesis should be over complicated, so the removal of some recipes is welcome. I have to say S.E. is working hard and well but we need more incentive to interact with one another, casual player or not. the exp is fine, find a friend, dont want to find a friend? then don't expect to get the same result as people working together. i worry about the new players coming in because they are not coming in in large groups so they enter a world in which everyone they meet is ridiculously powerful and equally as unhelpful. i got lucky to find a good home ls, but i see a lot of people without one. this market ward nonsense is unnecessary ridiculous time is spent going from vendor to vendor, and you dont even know who actually runs the place so you cant even contact them for requests on something only they sell or sell at a decent price anyway. maybe an AH is too overdone but something as simple as delivery between vendors helps, and i believe they can expand on that. i myself am not educated in game design and certainly not an expert on how to make the perfect mmorpg but if we can somehow unite the community or have a few open good hearted linkshells that expand even with new people then the solo'ers might not feel so alone because now they have the option of partying etc. i am a casual player who happened to meet some good people through fun conversation. if interacting with people isnt something you like to do why choose an mmo? after all there are a lot of offline games that you could chose from. people need to stop being grouchy - i dont know why anyone thought this was the "save all" patch its just a step. i personally disliked the physical level system anyway and was glad to see it go, i like the simplification of some recipes and losing half my health is fine with me if the mobs do too, perhaps tweaking the def for some classes might help but frankly this is very workable.

    Paragraphs good sir O_O

the patch has not been out long all it needs is time to settle and a .a/.b and it will be good to go.

It is like you said we are still in the 10 step process of the game picking its self up.

A literal wall of text, but I fully understand your position and feelings, and I respect you for that.
