Huge Problem with astro pre buff, is now even worse post buff. ENMITY

I HAVE NO SHROUD. This has been a problem in A3S since the start

Pre buff: PLD couldnt sword oath as much as they could with a whm, or i would gain hate from one of the hands during split phase.

Post Buff: IM ON THE VERGE OF PULLING HATE 90% OF THE TIME, IN SHIELD OATH.

Hello Square? Remember healer enmity is a thing? When you give us as much heal potency as a WHM we kind of need a shroud. 15 seconds of reduced enmity gain is not sufficient at all, even if i time it during the most heal intensive part of phase one, its NOT ENOUGH. Doesnt help that using cards and such also increase hate.

Something goes wrong and i need to heal more because someone got hit by something? I will pull.

I dont have a ninja and i have had more gear drops than my main tank. What exactly do you expect me to do? Tons of unnecessary wipes because of this. And no, im not overhealing. This is ridiculous. Raiding is harder now after SE listened to idiots and buffing the wrong things with ast.

Or you could:
-use Luminiferous aether early before you spam AoE healing
-let the party stay at half HP and let the HoTs do it's thing
-don't use Helios II and stick with Helios and/or Collective Unconciousness

Because from the sounds of it, you're overhealing for most of it.

Before you question it; yes, I am on A3S and yes, I did it as Scholar, White Mage and Astrologian so far.

All of this is irrelevant. A healer should NEVER be able to pull hate from a 100% shield oath tank, 3 minutes into a fight. Ever. 3 minutes of a tank building aggro. With strength accessorizes increasing their damage and therefore hate gain. With selene also increasing their damage. And card buffs.

I cant even put up dots on the pull anymore because it could cause me pulling threat later on.

Is the tank using ther skills right?
I main AST and never pull hate unless the tank is failing at doing ther job right.

Yea, it sounds like a tank issue, honestly, or if you're spamming massive, unessassary heals, cause this hasn't really been a problem. especially in shield oath, Don't even really pull off in sword oath, something is off here.

Um...sorry to say this but you shouldn't have any problems with enmity on that fight... I've done it on WHM and I've never had to use shroud once on that phase. I don't see how that would be any different on AST (and im gonna run as3 this week with my group on AST) and honestly I think the problem is either overhealing(even if you said you aren't) or your tank... and for the record I am more geared than my tanks. I can't just imagine a tank with eso weapons not being able to keep hate.

Also calling people idiots and responding aggressively doesn't help your case. I understand you are frustrated but blaming it on a job that got buffed and LA never being an issue before just because you are having problems with it, doesn't mean it's the job's fault at all. Should look into what you guys are doing wrong instead of taking the easy route and blaming it on the job.

If you honestly dont need mana until after Cascade, then that just shows you arnt healing as much as you should be and are getting carried hard by your scholar. Cant pull enmity when you arnt even healing.

But i digress. WHM and AST are different so thats not even relevant. Whm doesnt use cards every 30 seconds, that add hate, as do shuffle, royal road , spead, disable.

But Draw is on a 30s recast on doesn't cause much enmity spike.....
