My problems with AST buffs.

I like the idea of faster, weaker heals.

While I understand the gist of what you're saying, this part about faster, weaker heals would never fly. Having to cast more heals to get the same effect would automatically relegate AST to the healer ghetto. One of the goals of a healer is to meet the healing requirement with as few GCDs as possible and with as little MP as necessary so as to free up time and resources to DPS and buff.

I'm not saying that the across-the-board potency buff was by itself a necessary fix (these potencies were never the real issue), but I don't agree with the notion that AST should be some kind of "busy" healer, since that concept isn't competitive in the current and foreseeable meta.
