I suggested something called the "Gambler Stance" for AST a while back.

Basically, if GS is on, your heals are weaker while the card buffs are MUCH more potent. With it off, the heals would be what they are now with the card buffs being what they are now.

That may make AST too versatile, though, so maybe they just need to make the card buffs a bit flashier and interesting instead...
