I thrived with the old system and I thrive under the new system.

Frankly I'm pretty sure this is a load of rubbish, I bet you have sent more than you have gained from 2* crafting alone. Just because you gathered your own mats does not mean the mats did not have a high value in their own right. Looks like the gear you made would have cost you atleast 200 in mats/materia value, where did you find all the buyers to make 200+mil profit from 2* gear? xD

You pay 15 mil for some dumb puppy minion but cry about spending 3 mil

On my server 1 average crafter part costs 10mil to make in mats alone, if you wish to max meld it, it would on average cost 10-12mil more (V's are around 10mil, iv's 100-200k)

on a functional upgrade.

What is functional about any of the new crafter gear? What can you do with it, that you cannot do without?

All the tears on this forum are tears of some new generation of gamer who does not want to put forth effort to achieve anything.

It's nothing about people not wanting to put in effort, they want the reward to at least nearly match the effort.
