You're right, kids these days don't know how good they have it. Back in my day we had no crafting recipes. We had to guess and if we were wrong we lost all the mats 100% of the time, none of this 90% reclaim nonsense. Crafting made nothing of value, but we still crafted anyway and dang it we liked it. It was about role playing an experience and putting in some good old fashioned hard work that you could be proud of at the end of the day. We also wore an onion on our belt, which was the style at the time. We didn't have any fancy auction houses or market boards, we had to travel around the world on foot and find somebody who wanted to buy our item. Then we had to travel some more to get to a bank so they could pay us because it was too risky to carry a lot of gold on you, and too heavy because money had real weight to it!

...and we crafted uphill in the snow, both ways!

Assuming the OP wrote about lesser human brings, 'You all are bad for this community.'.. and edited out, There was a group of people that thought like this.. it began with Friedrich Nietzsche and ended with huh? yea that is The National Socialist Party of Germany in the early 1930's. This guy is seriously ill.
