High Level Dungeon Gear Is Redundant

Except that gear was relevant when the dungeons were implemented in their patches. Back when 2.0 launched, tomes were actually somewhat difficult to grind out and very time consuming, so dungeon gear was a good replacement until you got the tomes needed for tome gear. The dungeons at the times of their implementation helped bridge the gap and assisted newer players in getting into higher ilvls of gear and thus the higher ilvl dungeons. Also before they made it so each treasure chest in High Level roulette dungeons dropped 1 piece of gear and 1 crafting material, 70% of the time it would be a crafting material and I'm pretty sure I remember a lot of desynth levelers complaining about this.

I do NOT want more crafting item drops. One of the biggest complaints I heard when they started this was "OMG STOP GIVING ME MATS I DON'T WANT THEM I DON'T CRAFT". The only time you wanted these mats was when you were endgame crafting and didn't want to spend those hard earned tomes. Almost all of these can now be bought with chump change version of GC seals.
The gear exists now solely for glamour or seals.

Because of this, I would like to make a formal request to have all gear found in High Level dungeons which were introduced from Patch 2.1 to Patch 2.4 be replaced due to their redundancy, with more of crafting items like the Hardened Sap and the Lime Sulphur. Logically speaking, it just makes sense to do this because so much gear will never get used.

There's really no need to remove the gear from the game. It serves a purpose in the form of glamour, or for people to kit out their retainers with some reasonably decent gear that they don't need themselves. You can also turn it in for seals at your Grand Company!

If they change the drops to crafting mats then I can personally guarantee you that you will never see a run for these dungeons again.

Yeah seriously, I don't think people realize how simple it is to get those. 200 GC seals for 1 of them. Even just leveling something in the event FATEs at Costa will net you a ton of them in a short time of leveling in FATEs that barely requires you to travel and most of which are finished in a minute or two.

But now? Its only for gc turn ins/ glamour cuz as soon as u hit 50 u get bombsrded with all this super easy to get i100+ gear lol
