If implemented, I'd want the option to be class/job specific. The bars start out showing for all of them, but players who want to hide them can do so individually for specific jobs.

But anyway, there's other sources of screen clutter I'd be a lot more interested in being able to turn off. Like how it always shows everybody's FC, or those notices that fill the center of the screen just to reiterate information that's already shown in the quest tracker and chat window. The TP bars may not always be the most important information, depending on which job you're on, but at least they don't disrupt your view nearly as much as these others do.
