With a recipe two levels above your own, it is going to be significantly more difficult. Not impossible, but not something I'd advise a new crafter to take on.

Edit: Whoops, I misread, sounds like you are 59 and the recipe is 57!

Your stats should be fine if your gear is updated to the best available.

The beginning of your synthesis that you described looks good:

"...comfort zone, inner quest, steady hand2. Then hasty touch until i can fit a mend. renew steady hand2 when needed." Use tricks of the trade along the way to regain some CP.

Figure out how many careful synth II you will need to finish so you know how many durability you need to spare before you begin your final sequence. For the final sequence, use the following: Steady Hand → Great Strides → Innovation (if you have it) → Byregot's Blessing → Careful Synthesis II (as many as needed to finish). This last sequence will take 96 cp (or 78 without innovation).

This is a very effective general approach. You will have to get a bit lucky with this approach, both with your hasty touch and your condition:good. But it isn't unreasonable to think you'll still get above the minimum collectability most of the time.
