Enough about AST! How do I use Emergency Tactics?

It was obvious going in to Heavensward that SE thought Scholar has some major healing muscle. But while we're brilliant at keeping the bar from going down, we're weaker in the "making it go back up" department. So, fellow book nerds, tell me how and in what situations you use Emergency Tactics? I've tried it out organically but it just makes me wanna spam Physick instead of fight the server latency. What say you, dead skill or hidden gem?

ET is mostly for turning Succor into Medica. Easy solution for restoring HP lost to a party-wide AoE without blowing your Indomitability.

ET+Adlo is for restoring a large chunk of HP without using a Lustrate stack. I don't find myself using this technique very often.

I generally liked it for Succor when facing large AoE hits on bosses. It's less useful on Adloquium since you're probably going to cast another heal on the tank soon anyway. But it's rather nice for situations when Indomitability is already down, or when you would need two Succors to top off the group and can't spare/don't have the Aetherflow for Indomitability.

I hadn't even thought of that! That's kinda cool then, and makes a lot more sense. I didn't notice because I always end up with one extra stack for that Indom. But I guess as I find myself blowing more on the various damage-intense fights, that could end up being a much better option.

Indom is still great, but if the need to heal and/or move your ass isn't urgent, ET+Succor lets you use that stack for an Energy Drain etc. instead (or simply lets you keep the CD ready for when you truly want to use Indom).

It seems like these two in conjunction put some big-time Save The Party tools in the kit. Urth's Fount would've gone so differently!

    How to use Emergency Tactics:
    Use Adlo.
    Use Emergency Tactics.
    Use Adlo.
Repeat as desired every 30 seconds.

Its a temporary weak Cure II, that if it crits is unholy.

Didn't follow the guide? xD If your target already has a shield, use Emergency + Adlo. It saves you a Lustrate.

How do this same thing on Astro:
    Use Aspected Benific (Nocturnal)
    Use Benific II.

    Repeat as desired.

ET is a great move and very usable, but I feel its missing something, like maybe an auto crit, instant cast, or reduced MP cost. But I guess since its on a 30sec CD that's why we don't have any of those. But, in regards to MP 2 Physicks are better than one ET Adlo, it's great for succor though.

I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

ET is a great tool and as mentioned above
    ET+Succor =medica
    ET+Adlo= no need for lustrate.
The only thing i feel like it should be changed in this CD is the animation, in my opinion it is too long for an "emergency"
