Since you took a blow for your raid group, can't they hit you back by giving you priority on a couple healer drops in Savage? If they were unwilling to work with your AST to the point of booting you, they should at least be willing to help you catch it up.

I finally decided to spend my esoterics on SCH, and it was the right decision, as my sch with awesome gear was owning those heals.

You already got value from those Esoterics, you got raid experience and raid/gear progression and you want to compound that value by transferring them to a different class? I'm sorry, but that does not seem fair to me. Your Esoterics will continue to trickle in, and you have one healer at least entry level geared for Savage that will earn you superior gear anyways. I think you will do just fine.

My statics healer mained AST since release and has raided with it since day one. It was completely viable if you were a good player. Because other people wanted to pander to flavor of the month instead of playing what they liked, now they are behind on gear for AST and expect that they should be on par with the AST's who weathered the storm??? Nah. I have to disagree. If you want to play AST now you are going to have to play catch up. The people who dealt and stuck with the class now have and advantage (and should) over those who tailored their choices to what others though instead of their own desires.
