The best Glamour system is the one in Guild Wars 2.

If you get an item, you right click it to add it to your ACCOUNT BOUND wardrobe. If its their version of a 'green or better' it becomes account bound by doing this. If its a lower item, you can still sell it, even trade it (so its really easy to get all the lowbie stuff into your wardrobe by just a single visit to the auction house).

Once its in the Account Wardrobe, any and all characters now and in future, can 'glamour' it - at no cost.

I understand FFXIV wants us to look like a fashion-freak-army until level 50... Fine... Once we get one class of one character on our account - why need to repeat that fashion disaster ever again?

Just as I feel these devs need to look at Wildstar for housing, they need to look at Guild Wars 2 for glamour. BUT NOT for fashion... the actual armor sets in Guild Wars 2... those devs have a weird obsession with butt-flaps.

- But its always good to take a pass at the competition once every year or so, and grab all the good ideas. WoW ripping off other people's ideas is how they got to 11-million players... FFXIV is now the growing MMO, with a fresher take. Time to take what others did right, and ignore the mistakes (like GW2 buttflaps and Wildstar raid-tuning ).
