I'd prefer to have a show/hide option.
I play only as healer so I don't care about seeing TP, and I prefer to have a clean UI when I play.

I wish I could hide my quest list while I'm in a fate or a duty can we get this instead? And I mean just that I prefer to just see the duty I'm in.

Indeed. The FFXIV UI is really backwards in a lot of ways. The UI seriously need an overhaul with a proper designer who has actually used a PC with keyboard and mouse before, not someone who has only spent time on consoles.

― Ernest Hemingway
Anyone else see this from the quoted post?
Cause ok they want to see a better UI they could of just said "they need a person that can do better UIs"

Go into System, Character Configuration, UI Settings, HUD, there is a toggle option to display Duty List. I think in another thread (or even this one?) someone mentioned that there is a macro you can use, so there is some / command of sorts, dunno what that it. But, you can do this.
Edit!:

Select Other from the list on the left. And then find /hud
You evidently use "/hud DutyList" or "/hud dlist"
/hud USAGE:
/hud [UI element] [subcommand]
→Toggle on/off various UI elements.

I'm loving the TP bar, especially now since AST has been buffed and I have been playing it more. It makes the Spire card have a lot more use since you know who to put it on now.
No I just want it off while in a duty that's the only point id need or even want it out of the way and even if you hid it in the configurations it will hid the duty info in dungeons too which is what I don't want because I prefer to see how much time is left.
Oh it hides both? Well yeah that sucks.
MANTASTIC: I got 1017 problems, but playing FFXIV ain't one.
Llyren: Lala Tanks hit point density levels attract small planets

Yeah, let the casters hide TP bars so they can go back to blissfully pulling extra mobs when my warrior is out of tp.
