I'd vote for the option to hide them, it's mostly irrelevant for 10 of the 13 jobs. I thought they would have been optional anyways. Is it not possible to break the 3 up into individual elements so they can be displayed or hidden as needed?

I'd personally rather they not add the ability to hide the TP bar, because you just know that BRD/AST/NIN in your party will have it turned off when they need it... I really shouldn't have to spam a Goad macro for example into the party chat just to get them to use a skill that they should know how to use. When what seems like a large portion of the player base (judging by complaints on several forums including here and the experiences I've had in my data centre) seems to be unable to use support abilities even with the addition of a TP and MP bar to assist them, we don't want to further encourage this kind of behaviour by allowing them to turn it off, its detrimental to the whole reason for adding it in the first place. The ability to monitor the rest of your party is helpful to everyone, regardless of class or skills.
Frankly this would be one more reason to not use the duty finder for Random PUGs, because far too many people are inconsiderate of the rest of the party as it is, and will hide a useful feature like the TP bar because of some stupid selfish reason like "clutter" for example.
If some tiny white bars on the party list make your screen more clunky, I'm pretty sure I dislike you're HUD settings even though I haven't seen it.
Have you tried to just make the entire party list a bit smaller? Just a bit... I guess not. And I guess you won't...
Meh.
English is not my mother language. I'm trying to do my best, so please don't be rude...

THIS OMG PLEASE DO THIS.I think that the biggest stop in allowing to hide/show just a single part of one widget is the design in itself. While some of the HUD elements can be toggled on and off they only come as packages. Earlier the most painfull one has been the duty list. Please break it in two, the Quest list to track quests, and to Active Duty block that has fates and dungeon stuff. That way people can hid one without loosing the other. I have no idea what's the basis on what the GUI is coded on but it seems to be clunky at best.
I would like to specifically suggest that the feature is working fine as implemented and my comment is "thank you for implementing this feature, keep up the good work!"![]()
I fully agree that it is working perfectly fine as currently implemented and would also like to thank you for finally adding the TP bars![]()
Yeah, don't listen to the whiners here.
If you want to start giving us UI options, how about letting us mod the darn interface already like most new games are?
There is a wholeeee bunch of excellent suggestions in the website and forum suggestion section, please review those and forward too please please and ty!!!!
Also ty for sending the feedback to this topic too!
I posted a few suggestions on the other topic, I didn't find a suggestion section so I hope it's in the right place.
