Why is there no TP number on the party list for my character?

With the way my HUD is set up, I have it so that the parameter bar is disabled so that my HUD looks clean. I do have the party list enabled to see my stats. However, with the patch that has been released today, I no longer see a number under my TP bar on the party list. I understand the reason why TP numbers are not there for other party members as it would cause system load issues but why remove it for the first member in the party (my character)? I really do not want to have the parameter bar enabled just so I can see my own TP numbers. Please, fix this SE.

They said in the patch notes they removed the personal TP number because of "system limitations" when adding the TP bars for everyone else.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.

Total TP is always 1000, so you can make a pretty good guess at the number based on the bar.

The problem is, to efficiently play a job and make the best use of a cooldown like Invigorate, or not bottoming out too far when mashing AoE skills on big pulls, you need to know your exact TP count.

I'm in a similar situation as OP where I disabled personal stat bar because it was redundant clutter (you had the access to the same information on the party list prior to 3.07), and now I'm stuck having to re-enable it off in the corner of my screen just to see one value.

I was under the impression silly things like this wouldn't be hindering the supported platforms that are capable of handling much more (the PC userbase), but I guess not.

You can thank the folks that still play on that toaster (ps3).

IMO, they should drop ps3 support ASAP, so they can finally bring QoL and UI elements up to this decade of minimal requirements.

I agree. I know it may upset some folks, but if we have to live through another decade of "PSx Limitations" I think some of us will just move on permanently. I miss that TP number greatly, mostly because I can't deal with all these swirly colorful icons and guesswork on how far a bar is filled\how much time is left on a cooldown.

Give me names and give me numbers. Text, I tell you! Give me Text! I find it insane that the numbers (plain ol' text) are what put the system load over the top.

Yeah... I also had the parameter bar hidden and just used the party list, and now I can't see the TP numbers unless I add the parameter bar back... which I don't really want to do

I hope SE adds TP numbers to those TP bars, or at least put the numbers back on our own TP bar

The TP bars of other party members can be left without numbers if it's so difficult to make it work with numbers on all TP bars because of limitations or whatever

I have a hard time beleiving that the PS3 can't display four additional numbers...

I beleive the exact term used was "UI limititation" which quite vague in itself. If there are any limitations to the UI they are clearly self-imposed by the developers.
