Potential AST bug: vanishing Ewers...

I've been casting Ewers on people and they've either not been displaying (even with less than 5 buffs to show) and the Ewers have been disappearing. I click on them to see all of their buffs and the Ewer is simply not there.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a buff that overrides it that other classes can give?

If you throw Ewer on a DRK, depending on the stance, he can't recover MP, so Ewer doesn't work...

Cards do override each other but this doesn't sound like that. The other thing I would check for is lag... if there's a lot of latency the card animation can play, but it won't be applied to the target. Of course if this happens it should still be on you until the duration runs out.

...so, pretty much it sounds like a bug. Or maybe what Roxas said (who were you giving it to?).

I threw it on a DRK but yeah, it got eaten on numerous occasions.

But I also threw it on a BRD at one point and it was eaten there, too.

Does it also get eaten on BLM if they're in Fire aspect...?

It sounds buggy at a glance. If you can repeatedly reproduce it, I'd report it as a bug.

Also, check to see if they're getting MP back that's higher than their normal amount when they have Ewer. Though it might not visually be there, the effect might still be active.

I thought I went crazy, but apparently not. It was a bit hectic, but I had drawn ewer and then used it on myself, but the buff was then nowhere to be found. It was just in a 4 man so then I cycled through the party and no one had it, so I didn't accidentally use it on someone else although I was already positive I wasn't targeting anyone. I had deselected the tank and then used it as it should default to me normally. I don't think anyone else had used a buff on me at the time. I was with a DRK, BLM and DRG.

No it does not, though you shouldn't use Ewer on a BLM anyway, you might throw their rotation off.

Yeah, I'm trying to remember if I used one on myself and it vanished. I think it was on the BRD that it got eaten for no reason...
