For Devs: [Choices] Same Outfit Design Options for BOTH Sexes

Some outfits have sex specific designs, but we should have the option to pick which design we prefer based on our own preferences.

I'd love to not have a midriff with the initial DRG AF armor on a female sex character.



I'd love to not have the bow on the back of the WHM outfit on a female sex character.



And people would like vice versa for their male characters. It wouldn't take much resources to solve this with the Calamity Salvager. Please give us the option.

I do would have the female AF1 DRG on my male miqo'te <3 But it's like asking to make every glamour gear unisex instead of female exclusive and unisex (still looking for a male exclusive...)

It would be nice to have similar options for pants too. I usually run into this problem when I'm trying to glamour my female retainers. It gets frustrating when I preview the pieces on my character (which is male). I compose an outfit that I find satisfactory, only to have it look totally different when I finally apply it to my female retainer. If there really must be a "no pants" option for females for these gear pieces, it would be nice to have another "no skin" option, for those of us that would prefer our characters to be more covered up. Of course, I'm sure there are some people that would love to dress their male characters in the Evenstar tutu, so I suppose the options should eventually go both ways.

Nothing wrong with "a little diversity." However, especially when it comes to cultural and even personal opinions on vanity, the devs should really leave that to the player to decide. Not everyone would dress their character to be ogled at, and there are those that would like to take that ogle-inducing properties to the other extreme. I don't see why the options shouldn't cater to both.

Thank you for pointing out the obvious. Hopefully it is equally as obvious that your "solution" is not the point of the discussion. By your logic, the OP should just chose a different gender, if they don't like how the gear displays on their current character.
