Or, remember to change pet stances each time you mount up and dismount. But, they removed requiring to dismount when entering a city, so, remove the need to pet stance dance.

    2. When the pet is not tanking, it auto-positions to the rear. Especially SMN solo with Chocobo. Ok Titan, I need to park you over there, because my bird is too stupid to move. Ok, now keep attacking. Good boy.
    1. Don't get it why this still isn't fixed. I had to create a mount macro with /pac Steady. /smh
    2. Another strange thing SE didn't implement as it would help Ifrit and Chocobos to not get cleaved to death by bosses. That reminds me, they should really clone WoW's glyphed Water Elemental "follow me at my side at all times" behavior for range pets.

Not really pinning for a necromancer class.

Just ... as I said, all SMN (and I think BLM) got for "mechanics" this expansion are stupid buffs on a timer - i.e. Aethertrail and Dreadwyrm Trance (and Enochainsomething). All those do is make you rush to squeeze in as many attacks as possible or stress you out about using a specific attack within the time limit. Mechanically about as interesting as DDR.
