Treasure Map nerf?

Did the drop rate of Thavnarian Silk and Leather get nerved or am I just having really bad luck?

last 2 weeks, 15 Dragonskin maps, not one silk or leather, however in those same 2 weeks I have gotten 3 blue Fox Hides, which I hadn't seen at all in 3.0

did they change something or what? anyone else notice this or is it just me?

probably just you. I did 8 maps this past week; one of my maps gave me 2 silks

I'd have to side with your bad luck. Just did a few with the FC the other day out of 10 maps we ended up with like 8 silks (2 3X drops) and 2 leather.

Granted that was some good luck... its can also be rush grass, rush grass, rush grass.

They weren't nerfed, they were buffed! RNG, however, means that even a 99% drop rate won't guarantee a single one in even a thousand maps. Mathematics, Grrrr.

Its kinda annoying because I only need 2 more silk to make the last piece of the Thavnarian gear, and now I'm going on 2 weeks without a single drop at this point I could have just bought it and sold some stuff to pay for it

The maps suck, plain and simple. I started doing maps 6 weeks ago. I have opened at LEAST 45 of my own maps in that time, and I have gotten Thav Silk exactly ONE time.

In the last map party I was in, we did ~3 maps per person, six people. Three gave 1x Thav Leather, one gave 3x Thav Silk, and one gave a Bluebird (didn't even know that was a possible drop!). Five rare drops out of 18 maps is pretty darn good, if you ask me.

RNG is RNG. I don't think the rate has changed.
