What does everyone think about those AST buffs?

Just thought that we can now possibly get 1minute buffs with Extended Royal road?

Assuming it's still 2x duration and not 15s, yes. 60s long buffs. :P
Add in Time Dilation and you'll have a total of 75s. CO makes it 80s.

You can get mega long buffs with enhanced too now...CO/TD on top of enhanced arrow/balance is some serious dps. (and serious tp burn for physical jobs lol)

We don't really beat out the other Healers in either sect's niche even after the buffs (which is good). Our card buffs are actually worth something now (we buff better than a SCH whee) and we can heal just as well, but I don't think there's anything really worth nerfing. We have essentially been equalized, for the most part. We have the same tools as other Healers with near-equal potencies now and something to boost healing. Our unique function is now buffs that can be upheld thanks to 30s durations and 30s Draws.

Welp, you still have a minimal amount of dps, so for progression you won't be replacing the sch. Once things are on farm Ast/Whm might be the best combo, but we aren't there yet. So for progression, you will be trying to replace the whm spot. Can ast do that now? Well, im not totally sold but if you can, the card buffs going out from the solo healer will be amazing. Your hots were already good and now they are even better, but most people have at least watched a vid of what the last two turns of savage are about.Big damage all the time. Combine that with the fact that few ppl have been gearing ast with their eso tomes I would imagine. This combination of events does give some people the opportunity to really shine with the class though. Good luck to anyone going for it.

Tbh a good whm can dps as much as a sch, as things stand now.

What baffles me most is Synastry. That thing is now a monster.

Wouldn't be so sure about that due to the fact that AST can put a 80 sec balance card on a dps which makes up for the damage difference between SCH and AST plus with that balance extend deal if you get lucky you could have multiple extended balance cards up at the same time before the previous one falls off.
