Just be aware you can't actually switch GCs til much later in the game (when you reach the current highest GC rank of Second Lieutenant), and to get promotions requires quite a bit of work.

Also the Order of the Twin Adder would beat the 'Failstrom' any day.

If you are really into collecting everything (barding, minions, etc.) after checking out their gear looks and such, your favorite one, set that aside. Do one of the other 2, collect the barding and minions and anything else, change to the other of the other 2, do the same, and lastly, transfer to your now favorite one, get all of them collectables and stay put. But, what a grind that is.

I dont realy care about minions and such I dont think i ever will have them out..(I dont like animals in real life either..well i like them..but only if they are tending themselves in the wild)....but i care greatly about the way my toon look. And from the looks on the costumes i think I like the maelstrom best....but ofc..I'm not sure. The good thing was...seems like there are only a few cosmetic options avilable to each company. Meaning..you dont loose out on much gear by having to choose one of them....

And the guild thing...free companies its called? I have not joined one yet..and i plan to not join one before i hit max level and want to start raiding casually. Before this I'm having a blast with the quest story and random pugs for the story dungeons
