How to play Final fantasy without logging into steam?

Hi,

I bought final fantasy through steam...but I hate to always log into steam launcher everytime i wanna play..is there a way to play final fantasy without logging into steam for me?

What I did was just download the client from the main website.
I also bought it through Steam, so I know you can use the standalone client to just log in normally. (Also hate logging in through steam)

Yeah unfortunately...unless you can find the folder Steam saved it to and access the launcher that way.

Keep in mind that purchases are locked in if you've got the Steam version. You can log into the game with or without the Steam client, but if you purchased through Steam, then any future PC purchases (like expansions) have to go through them as well.

The same is true in the opposite direction: People who bought the stand-alone PC client cannot get the expansion through Steam. All PC purchases are either locked into Steam or locked out from Steam according to how you first bought the game. (Console versions are separate, though, and can be combined with either the Steam or non-Steam PC versions. I'm not entirely sure about Mac.)

True and that's oki..i don't mind Steam per say..i just don't wanna log into steam. And yesterday i followed the link i linked..and placed that one file on my desktop..problem solved I now start the game without logging into steam

One of the problem with steam is that my son play team fortress via steam on my account...and 2 persons cant be logged into steam at the same time it seems...and I hate to toss my son out of his games

steam games are always located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\{whatever game you're looking for}

This is where they are stored for me on windows 7 and 8.1. No idea if 10 changes the file structure a bit, and I know for a fact its just all under "program files" on older versions of windows.
