Yeah, let's all and blow things out of proportion.
Apparently it's the only thing we're good at.

next time level your crafts along with your jobs. You'll make more use out of the things you create.I would love it if someone could PL my crafts... I sure hate low level crafting. All that time for so little gain.
S'what I'm doing. I crafted all my starter gear before any craft was at rank 10. Sold the runoff from materials I farmed for 80k. That's significant for my overall level. And this is post 1.19, I might add.
Seems to me like you're playing it wrong. Could be why you're not enjoying it as much.
Hmmm, I wonder if that applies to power leveling too.... HMMMMMmmmmmmm.....
Crafting is boring because crafting is nothing but hitting buttons in menus over and over... it doesn't matter when I do it... it's still boring.
Then I don't think this game is for you, my friend. Mayhaps you'd like many other free games that practically hand everything to you.
same 5 people crying about this, and 150 others saying how they don't mind it.
Zenaku and Issac are 50% of the posts on this thread. (Exaggeration) but still lol.
Almost everything on this thread is "hey i don't mind the PL how it is" (random dewdt)
Zenaku or Iassac "Well its going to ruin the game because... well because i just feel it inside my heart of hearts"(even though i can give no solid evidence that PLing destroys games)
Wow's had PL system for years, 300% bonus exp on mobs and quests is just as broken as this, the only difference is in wow you don't need to have friends, and it costs a lot of money.
And how has wow been doing these all these years? Great. Yeah its not a perfect game but it holds the majority of players and i don't see them getting rid of their "pay for powerlevel service"
And one more thing... Issac and co.... who do you think is getting power leveled? i would say majority of them are end-game minded people who want to tackle end game when its released (already is Ifrit). And there is no competition for anything endgame atm.. so it doesn't threaten you.
I could see you crying if there was HNM that are world pops that you've been camping for 3 months trying to get a defenders ring or w/e, and this would decrease your chances of getting said items from the influx of high level players, but there is nothing like that right now.
Hitting max level used to be a huge thing in FFXI, and in other games but now games start at max level. Its all about gear and tackling hard content with friends and showing that off in town.
Do you even know why a leveling system is there? Its to slow down players from getting to late game (all to keep you playing longer and buying developers time to develop more content), and also so you learn you classes mechanics so you can play them properly. But with current day gamers most of us know how to play these classes already because we all were playing similar roles since we were 12.

I haven't made a count, but so far it seems 50/50 on the opinions.
Edit;
Pretty big exaggeration. There are nearly 700 posts in this thread. I have made 69 including this one.
What's a bit amusing is Zen has also made 69.
So, 138 posts. I think that's pretty reasonable for a thread with ~700 posts from two people who feel strongly about the issue.
Oh yeah, and you're forgetting about Travesty. While the three of us have been the most vocal, we have not been the only ones.

Which is it? You want to have someone PL your crafting levels, but you don't want to craft? I don't get it. Why have a craft at level 50 if crafting is boring to you?
If you're not going to craft, then fine. Don't make ridiculous demands of the game for something you weren't going to do anyway, Mr. Smarty.
