Straight from Yoshi - P: Power Leveling was given by Yoshi-P to the players with his blessing! /joy!

Much <3, Yoshi-P, much <3!!Q: After the claiming system change in patch 1.19, I'm afraid everyone will be power leveling each other. What do you think of this?
A: It depends on what you consider power leveling. For example, if my friend and I were playing completely different games. I've already reached the level 50 cap, and then I invite my friend. Of course I want to do end game content like Ifrit with him, but I invited him, and he wants to play too, and we are really good friends so I want to help him out.
I can help him out with my level 50 character when he's being attacked by a monster. Of course it's going to lower the XP a bit, but I'd like to make it a bit loose and not too strict. I just want to make sure friends are able to help each other if they want to challenge content together by filling the gap.
The severity of what we're seeing in game now, is not represented in those comments. If they truly intended for it to be like it is now, they wouldn't have wasted time reworking low level content.Straight from Yoshi - P: Power Leveling was given by Yoshi-P to the players with his blessing! /joy!

See the post above yours. Like I said before, Yoshi deemed it ok. Looks like FFXIV is /doomed I don't think this is game breaking, but again I don't really care. It's a game and I'd rather do end game content then level classes I don't like but "need" there skill / abilities.
He said if he is lvl 50 and invited his friend to come join the game and play with him, he wanted to be able to help his friend with his own lvl 50 character close the gap between them so they could play at lvl 50 together...
how does his comment NOT represent him wanting the game to allow him to power-level his friend from 1 to 50?!
"Re-working" low level content? You mean adding a non-instanced R15 open world dungeon? Am I missing something here?
He doesn't say he want's them to be able to do it in a day. In fact, he says "the experience will be less" which is the opposite of what we're seeing. He also says he wants the 50 to be able to help when the lower level is "being attacked by a monster" which is not what we're seeing. We're seeing high levels just slaughtering groups of mobs for low level players. He said if he is lvl 50 and invited his friend to come join the game and play with him, he wanted to be able to close the gap so they could play at lvl 50 together...

make sure friends are able to help each other...on the same content...and fill up the level gap...(his friend is lvl 1 and he is lvl 50)
he doesn't say NOT in a day, either...
Low level armor, weapons, materia, mobs, etc.
And this is where you and I differ apparently. I care if the game goes to sh*t because of a ridiculous leveling exploit. Shame on me.I don't think this is game breaking, but again I don't really care.
