Removed due to size restrictions and possible seizures risks.
The Devs need to address this properly. PL makes lv 1-40 pointless. At this rate they should just start everyone off with a lv 40 character.
I'm actually happy this thread is still going. The last attempted fix for PLing was highly deficient.
We need a system that only gives you XP if you directly engage in battle in some way.
I was just looking at how some of the Japanese topics take one topic and continue to post / append post.
It seems like the power levelers that I've come across while in a full party couldn't be reasoned with to share or find another spot either. As crazy as it might seem to necro bump a topic that's a month old, it really does beat creating a whole new topic about an ongoing concern.
There is anecdotal evidence that the current power-leveling mechanism for gaining XP is detrimental to the Light & Full Party mechanisms for gaining XP. Producer/Director Yoshida can achieve the same effect that he wants, without the negative effect to Light & Full parties, by simply implementing a Level Sync system.
As long as gaining XP via power-leveling remains the most time effective means of gaining XP, systems like Light Party bonus, Full Party Bonus, even the party search system ... are pointless.
My question to Producer/Director Yoshida is, "Why build a system of balanced XP-gaining mechanisms, then allow another mechanism to completely bypass that same system?"
Personally, it just doesn't make sense to me.
I know a surefire way to get this thread nuked!
