Now, I see around 50 (maybe plus or minus a few) regular posters here, and around 20,000 people playing. You see the point there I hope, that of those 20,000 (just an average guess based on server pop x amount of servers) 50-100 people are unhappy, where as everyone else seems to be playing.

But it seems this is a lost cause as you refer to it as winning and losing, which is a shame, as no one has really won here, infact, we are all losing out more and more as the complaining goes on.

To see a live example of it, read WoW's patch notes over the past 5 years, and then todays latest announcement on their official website, it's hilarious what players complaints have done to that game.
It's like you got this magic telepathic power that lets you know the thoughts of the 20,000 gamers. I want that kinda power!

What are we losing? Way-too-easy-to-be-fun EXP?

Suppose they kept the system the way it is right now. Those 20,000 players would rush to 50 in a couple weeks. A few weeks after that they'd have played most if not all of the high level content.

Where do we go from there? I guess sit on our asses being bored! Because we all know how quickly SE is churning out new content.

    Edit:

Also, you're assuming that since forum outcry = forcing the dev's hands, Yoshi would've kept the game the way it is had we all been asking him to not change it.

    I sincerely doubt that.
