Fail. The game isn't broken by something that is optional. It's not even like walking into a bugged area where you can't move. The only thing it breaks is your... immersion? LOL @ an optional activity having anything to do with the ability to play the game.

Second, powerleveling was about .2% as useful in XI as powerleveling is now in XIV. You literally can't compare the two. The extent of PLing in XI was basically a healer outside the part tossing heals on the tank, not getting a max level character to just slaughter everything for you.
