Power-leveling is absolutely BROKEN

They didn't design materia strictly for low level gear, and what gear isn't out-dated from 1.18. I'm pretty sure it was technical reasons that they had to develop entire new armor so that materia could be bound to it. 1 - 20 is supposed to be fast... and 35-50 is just as fast... if anything you should complain that 35-50 is too fast not that people are powerleveling low levels.

Wow, you really need to read what I've been saying. I'm not complaining strictly about people powerleveling low levels lol. I've actually cited someone going from 35-44 in 2 hours as an example of the problem.

Me and my friends started this game when it was released. A year later, I am the only one remaining.

But now my friends want to come back since so much of the game is different (and arguably better). I'm level 50. They're level 20.

Guess we're all SOL, since someone none of us even know or play with might get a little butthurt because my friends can level up faster now, huh?

How about we just have it so if someone wants to come back to the game, they get to choose the level they come back at? Wanna start at 50? Hey, here ya go! 50 free levels, yaaaay! Now you can play with your friends, since there was no way to make it so you could do that without cutting out a core mechanic of every rpg ever! This all makes perfect sense and doesn't conflict with logic at all!

Look at my sig. this is all the things people like you bitch about and it came and passed with no bad effect. Every patch trolls bitch about everything then 2 weeks later everyone gets use to it and its fine.
