Actually I did read your post even though it hurt my eyes a bit, and you clearly stated you had ALREADY abused the powerlevelling before even post it! And no I did not read the 20 or so pages afterwards ^^
Have fun levelling while you can, its a game
i agree powerlevel should only be a healer outside the party still killing the mob but there no downtime but this way ppl just killing it for you and you doing jack s***I'm not strongly against power levelling, but this idea that people can't complain about PLing because they're only going to go power level anyway isn't fair. The fact that PLing exists means that if you don't do it, you're going to get behind and you won't be able to access higher level content as quickly as others - even if you are "learning your job".
Basically, the fact that PLing is not only possible but freely accessible means that playing the game "as it should be played" i.e. not power levelling, doesn't actually reward you at all. Unless you just want the challenge, that is.
I dunno. I find this new system silly. At least in FFXI (before Abyssea) PLing was merely having someone heal your party - it was just a welcome boost and you still had to beat the monsters yourselves - albeit with a safety net.

In fact, no, I've changed my mind. This new system of power levelling is ridiculous. I haven't tried it yet, I'm not a high-level FFXIV player, so please do excuse me if I'm mistaken, but just reading how it works is-...
EXPERIENCE. Points.
What more do I have to say?
This is becoming less a game than a race to the top level by exploiting game mechanics... I can't even call it an exploit, it's just how the game works!
it's a exploit when SE said you should not get EXP for killing a rank 30 mob as a level 15. Right now i can kill a 30+mob and the level 15 would get over 500+exp and more with exp chain. In fact, no, I've changed my mind. This new system of power levelling is ridiculous. These forums sees like nothing but sarcasm and misinformation (patch notes clearly say Mobs higher than players lvl will grant higher exp; yet illiterates keep interpreting "theres an exp cap, if mobs higher you get less SP"). SE just needs to shut this ridiculous thread down.
The playerbase is always lashing teeth at each other for trivial reasons because everyone magically disregards common courtesy when online.
This thread, amongst others, needs to be closed it's honestly only promoting hostility.
It's ironic that the fatigue system probably would have helped with something like this. I guess we'll see their response in 1.19a, or the next client patch, as there have been several hotfixes already and not one mention of this "issue."
it broken because a 50 in a party can kill a 30mob and the player would get the EXP for kill a 30mob. When yoshi-p said it would be fix so you would not get that much exp off it.These forums sees like nothing but sarcasm and misinformation (patch notes clearly say Mobs higher than players lvl will grant higher exp; yet illiterates keep interpreting "theres an exp cap, if mobs higher you get less SP"). Bring it down why? Because you don't agree with it? It seem's any post that actually makes sense on these forums are asked to be brought down. If you don't like it fine state your own point of view but don't suggest something to be brought down just because you feel like it.These forums sees like nothing but sarcasm and misinformation (patch notes clearly say Mobs higher than players lvl will grant higher exp; yet illiterates keep interpreting "theres an exp cap, if mobs higher you get less SP"). I don't know why I even gather the effort anymore...
Anyone like nested quotes? I sure don't! But here are some anyway!
Put some actual effort into reading before slinging insults like that.
You obviously didn't read my next post. Or was it the third? Doesn't matter. Someone else had already said this, and I already responded. For your benefit, I'll say it again. Don't assume I'm a hypocrite.
An LSmate and I simply tested it because we noticed ridiculous XP gains without even trying. So we put it to the test and tried to see just how ridiculous powerleveling was. Do I plan on doing this regularly? No. Do I plan to be complacent with it? Hell no. I mean, come on, chains when a member in your party is 25-30 levels above the mob? This is silly.
Why do you needs POINTS to be good at your class? Could start on 50 and go learn how to play it still, people did it all time in XI. And incentive is Materia haha.In fact, no, I've changed my mind.
