A massive selection of posters also agree, mind you.
I'm assuming you missed Bayohne's reply confirming Reinheart's "poorly translated" excerpt. I dunno, I give him more credit for the effort he gives.
Trolling? Ahh here we go again.
The definition of trolling is not someone who disagrees with your opinions.
I am sorry that I do not feel the same way as you guys, however me, and a massive selection of posters disagree with you.
I'm not going to go over this tired debate again. We'll see what happens in 1.19a, won't we?
I don't think I ever said they weren't going to adjust it, however the point the majority of us made is that they didn't need to.
But it's fine, have your pacifier in that yet again, the game giveth, and following a tantrum, the game taketh away.
This is why we can't have nice things.
If you're that sore about losing your ability to level to 50 in a matter of days, I'd suggest some games that might give you a more satisfying time.I don't think I ever said they weren't going to adjust it, however the point the majority of us made is that they didn't need to.

Such a shame that you feel there is any kind of competition here. The blanket whining across spammed threads is what always gets the devs attention, not the odd thread or post here and there pointing out that people are happy, the reason being is that those that are happy are less likely to be on here, instead, they are ingame playing.
Now, I see around 50 (maybe plus or minus a few) regular posters here, and around 20,000 people playing. You see the point there I hope, that of those 20,000 (just an average guess based on server pop x amount of servers) 50-100 people are unhappy, where as everyone else seems to be playing.
But it seems this is a lost cause as you refer to it as winning and losing, which is a shame, as no one has really won here, infact, we are all losing out more and more as the complaining goes on.
To see a live example of it, read WoW's patch notes over the past 5 years, and then todays latest announcement on their official website, it's hilarious what players complaints have done to that game.

you can disagree but when you go on trying to shut down the topic what you doing? is trolling i know your views so does everyone now move on.

Anyone who abused the leve-canceling exploit back before it was changed has no credit when speaking against power leveling as a concept. IE: Almost everyone with every class at 50.
I am certainly not in favor of a system that lets you go from 1-50 to in a day's time, however. PL was and always should be a method to leapfrog over the incredibly tedious first half of any game's content, usually practiced by those who already have max level jobs and feel entitled to blast through what they've already completed. Any of the older FFXI players will tell you how relieved they were when a PL showed up to help their terrible dunes parties along, you knew you were getting out of there when that happened.
Yoshi's idea is noble, and very much like a child's naivety in execution. However, this game is at a crossed purpose of catering to soloists and those who wish to group. This cannot be sustained. You either go WoW's way of solo content and grouping up for dungeons, or you go XI's way of "group or die" (barring some exceptions). There is simply no other way to go about it in a way that is functional, and MMO's are about how well they function when played as functional systems beget a more consistent entertainment value.
I'm interested to see if we will have some honest adjustments, or if Yoshi will go the way of Tanaka and knee-jerk an even worse system partially out of spite for negative feedback of any kind.

I think Yoshi already addressed that in one of his previous letters. They are providing content like raids for parties, and content like leve for soloists. I think we see this in the new GC leve only being solo content, and the strongholds being tailored for parties.Yoshi's idea is noble, and very much like a child's naivety in execution. ^ Agreed to be honest, I am not trying to be holier than thou here, as im out power levelling right now, and I also did the leve thing back pre patch, but the problem I have is that the majority of the people up in arms have already done Levinshower and Dunesfolk to the death, and judging by alot of the posters Pads Profiles, the amount of leves completed vs the characters progress seems waaaaay out of balance, if they did it all legitimately.
I am not using this as a new stage of the argument, but more of the fact that when you have your exploit, you are fine, but when we have ours, you are unhappy, because you can no longer take advantage of it, and think everyone should be tarred by the same brush you tarred yourself with.
Anyways this debate staled so many pages ago, and multiple threads back. We have our possible answer, and it really does not need to go on any further. It's boring.
Gridanias getting a remodel, go tantrum about that now.
