I just want to point out to those of you making comments like these that you are completely devoid of integrity in this. If you had integrity, you would exercise the option of taking the hard path, but instead you choose the easy and blame others for not forcing your hand. You do not deserve any effort from the dev team towards your entertainment since you are taking what's right there in front of you and ruining it yourself, like a spoiled little kid that breaks its toys because its upset.

Once again when PL become main steam no one going to want to party which then mean other players have to A: Solo or B: get a powerlevel.

You are stating your opinion as if it was a fact. I´m sure there are people who will still want to party. Not everyone on the server has a PLer and those who do don´t have the person standing there 24/7 waiting for him to decide to get some exp.

Once again when something become main stream it's going to happen there noting but powerlevel in my world even the JP and RMT are doing it.

and for a price someone would always powerlevel and seeing how now it not that easy to make money people be happy to powerlevel someone for 80k a hour.

Statements like this are a poor excuse for systems like the one currently in place. When this is available most people do not do it because its easier. Most people get sucked into these PLs because one member of a party inevitably pulls in a PL. You cant just leave a party every time a PL shows up or you would never have a party.

The fact is, that in a Game where PLing is such a massive advantage over standard leveling people then become required to participate. You have to have so many max characters or you have to have all the best abilities. LS will not accept any reason for you not to because you can "just get a PL". When you make the difference between PL and not PL so drastic it becomes the norm and people who refuse to participate get left behind. They HAVE to conform or they will be rejected.

That's simply not true. You could PL all day every day in XI but parties I ever had there with a PL were like 1% of the time. This goes for any MMO. The vast majority of people in a successful MMO are not high level. You yourself are already at max length so you're just speculating because you haven't experienced it yourself. No, I have a better clue as to why you feel so strongly.. you feel ripped off. You don't feel better than someone who got PLed. Your confidence is threatened.

That's a low %. I think if you asked most people, their percentages would be higher.

Second, powerleveling was about .2% as useful in XI as powerleveling is now in XIV. You literally can't compare the two. The extent of PLing in XI was basically a healer outside the part tossing heals on the tank, not getting a max level character to just slaughter everything for you.

Wow really? Do you remember a time when mobs only gave 80-100sp each and leves didn't give anything. Although it was a bit extreme it felt like getting rank 50 was rewarding. Each patch after that it has gotten easier and easier. So I fail to see this HARD path you speak of. Heck, even 8 man leve linking had more of a point (even though it was an exploit). And please don't say sh@t about someones integrity when you know nothing about the person.

So we are all agreed, the levelling system is fine, lets pick the next thing to argue for 49 pages about, as this ones getting really boring now.
