Power-leveling is absolutely BROKEN

All I see here is people complaining about power leveling and want to lower the exp!

In fact by doing it people like me who solo will be stuck at rank 30 for years!
I solo and struggle and work my ass of to get any were!

And on top of that look at the server I play on (melmond) everyone was level 50 before patch and I could never find a party and now I get a bit quicker exp not by much people decided OMG its breaking the game!

Not to mention its got a lot harder to solo as low levels now do less damage and take more and get stuck fighting enemy's way lower then what they are!

I don't agree with power leveling but so what if people want be lame and do it let them cause in the end it just be there Friends playing with them or they just be so useless no 1 will play with them anyway and everyone will know who they are so whats the big deal?

Either:

1. Have something in the works for 1.19a
2. Waiting for the dust to settle (As mentioned by the rep)

Same thing happened when Abyssea was released and everyone was playing with the astronomical new exp gains. SE didn't say anything. At this point, it is easy to assume this was somewhat intended.

Tell me how you think this game will all of a sudden be successful?

By becoming an actually good game. It's not going to become one "all of a sudden" though.

While simultaneously, having the brand name and the company to carry it farther than any other MMO could.

All they basically need to do is, with the release of versus XIII in 2013, include a free trial version of XIV and just like that you have reached out to millions of PS3 users who hadn't given the game a try before. It may be costly (and perhaps unnecessary), but it is effective.

When you essentially have the game in front of you (that is actually a good), which you got pretty much as a free gift along with the product you were going to buy anyway, yeah, I don't think the threshold to give it a try is going to be that huge. Retail revenue is not going to be the source of profit in this case anyway.

But still, it all comes down to the game being actually a good product at the time. That's all it takes.

I've not played it from the begining (End of .17) and I'm liking it since .19...why can't other people?

Personally I keep giving it a chance, as I just love the Final Fantasy worlds

Reason #1 this game still has a chance. It's the brand. You give it a chance because it's a FF. So will others.

Lord of the Rings is probably the most beloved and influential fantasy IP in existence. They made an MMO out of it and it didn't do so well. It eventually ended up having to go F2P. Same thing happened with Dungeons and Dragon and Star Trek. All of these IPs have a huge reputation and extremely passionate fans.

Even after being plvld im still going to do all my leves, im still going to visit low lvl dungeons, im still gonna do low lvl content...(25 ifrit or any other content required to finish a quest). Im still going to look for gear for my lower lvl classes, im going to help my friends level, Im still going to complete low level side quests. And im still going to try out any content yoshi-p throws at me. Why? Because i have that choice to.
