Exactly. So why would they want this power leveling to this THIS extreme? My biggest concern is that if you can level 1 - 30 in two days... and 30-50 in another week... that means a lot of mid level areas/content is completely obsolete.
Also, what about all the R1-45 gear that is completely a waste. Why would you really buy armor or weapons that will be obsolete in one day. Why would you ever try to convert materia of a R35 item since you will never use it?
I think the power leveling shifts EVERYTHING to END GAME content. Everything that comes before that won't be used (content, crafting mats, crafting gear pre rank 50).
Doesn't make sense.
Thank God for you people who stand up for whats best for the game and not what's just best for you at the moment..
This has to change now.. I started this game right about when it came out and I just recently got all dom and dow to 50. Watching people reach R50 in two days is making me sick.
I'd support an XP rollback even. A rollback proportional to the amount of XP that would of been gained under normal circumstances for every Dom and Dow who has earned XP since the patches implementation.
If every other issue with this new system isn't bad enough.
Now we're ending up with a bunch of R50's who have no idea at all how to play their jobs.
On a side note: The Xp gains the OP stated are "Extremely" reserved. I have seen 1200 XP on chains 7 and 8.

There is a certain place you can be PL'ed from 40-50 in about 1 hour 30 mins, 2 hours at the most.... its fine for people that have already done the boring grind with other classes and dont wish to go though that again and have also completed all the other content as I have. What i dont like is new players being PL'ed before they have even got a class to 50 themselfs or done most of the content already. We have members in our LS that are pretty new and now take this being PL to 50 for granted.
This is called having your cake and eating it, too. In my opinion, there is no gray area. Either you do it or you don't. And I look down on anyone who does it at all. I'll openly admit it, I am hateful in that respect. There is a certain place you can be PL'ed from 40-50 in about 1 hour 30 mins, 2 hours at the most.... its fine for people that have already done the boring grind with other classes and dont wish to go though that again and have also completed all the other content as I have. If you're concerned about it, then don't do it.Okay, this seriously needs to be fixed immediately.
Now, before you all say, "Oh come on dude, why you gotta crap on something so awesome," honestly think about it. The consequences will be a domino effect that just might force SE to do a server rollback.
Here's an example: I just got 25,000EXP in less than five minutes. From level 24 to 25 with a friend killing and chaining crabs for me in my party.
I see your test was success! So successful and disgusting, in fact, that you did it thirteen more times. I bet you feel so dirty inside, don't you?
And you probably want it fixed 'cause you got some R50s already. You must feel like you're on top of the world, and you can't have these other newbies exploit your little powerleveling gem. 'Cause then you wouldn't feel like you're on top of the world anymore. Can't have that. No, sir.
...I love you elitists.
