If you're going to 'throw away' items via NPC selling, which is effectively what it is given the abysmal selling price, then you might as well just put them straight into the FC chest. If that's not an option then use FC chat to see if anyone wants them. The whole suggestion seems very mercenary & liable to misuse (there'll be people create loops & the like).
