    About 90002 / Disconnects (Virgin Media Customers)

    Hi guys i am another person suffering the constant disconects and 90002 errors.

    Are any of you guys Virgin Media customer? If so i would check out these threads.

    Nice read. Glad someone was able to pin down an issue and get them working on it. Over a year ago I caught an issue at the headend involving outdated CMTS hardware. Took a few months, but we eventually got most of the town routed to other gateways while they worked on it. Still not using a Florence gateway though. Kinda sucks having the extra latency from running 80+ miles out of the way, but it beats getting booted constantly.

    Hopefully they can resolve the firmware issue with the vendor quickly. Ran through a similar thing with Belkin routers a while back....was completely borking all ISP's because if it. Fortunately it is easy to revert a router firmware and prevent it from auto updating though...the modems are a different animal.
