PC resets on its own, no BSoD: Win7 64 bit

I've been experiencing this for a while now and though I am not the only one suffering it, I can't seem to find a solution just like the others.

P.S This is only happening while I'm playing FF14. At least, when it starts to reset--every other stressful programs I do like stress test and so on seems to instantly knock down my PC. And because of this, when I asked a technician to check it, they saw nothing wrong with it cos it didn't die regardless if they've stressed tested it for 6 hours?

At first I thought my PC was overheating so I opened the case and focused a fan on it yet it still restarted every now and then especially when I've been playing for more than 5 hours or so. So I decided it must be my GPU, thus I bought a new one:

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti

And it worked! Temporarily, sadly, as it returned once more and now I am here typing in the forums.

I've also tried plugging it in directly on the wall socket (And then on another but using an extension wire) but still nothing. I also tried it with an UPS but nothing still. I unchecked the automatically restart in the startup and recovery but still nothing--no BSoD or anything.

At the moment, I'm planing to buy a new power supply cable cos that might be it but honestly, right now--I'm not even sure what to do anymore. I'm even contemplating in buying a new PSU even though what I am is somewhat new:

    Corsai VS650

FF14 is fun but Gods it's frustrating when you can't even last for more than 5 seconds while trying to log in again. OTL

Before you spend any more money-- what does the Windows Event Log say?

That's exactly what I meant. Name resolution issues shouldn't cause reboots. Since you're using dropbox anyways... if you export the upload the logs, I can take a look (dates/times when the reboots have happened would be helpful).

Also, is it safe to assume you've made sure all your drivers are up to date? Have you checked other areas, like the Device Manager, for any alerts/issues?

Ahh, I forgot to screenshot the important one which is a critical error--I'll however include it in the logs along with the other errors I missed. It's in the 2nd one.

But yes, I have the drivers up to date. I even reinstalled them. When I viewed device manager earlier, the: Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface, was down--however, I do believe I've fixed that problem.

Mmm. Only exporting those specific events keeps me from seeing the context but I think I got what I need...

The "good" news is you are right to suspect your PSU. Sudden powerloss is absolutely a strong candidate for causing an event 41 with a code 0.

Unfortunately, it doesn't completely rule out a thermal trip (but those usually get recorded). If your motherboard came with any software for temperature monitoring, I would use that just to be safe. Also, if you're overclocking or if you tweaked the voltage on your RAM or anything like that--set all that back to default and test.

Now, before you buy a replacement PSU... decent PC repair shops should have testing equipment for PSUs specifically, so it might be worth unhooking it and bringing your current PSU to one of them. Or, if the watt rating is low, it may simply be underpowered (which would match your symptoms).

So, those are some things to check and try... Hope that helps ^^

I didn't overclocked it at all. I tried to do it with MSi afterburner (hoping it'll help after reading something in reddit) but stopped seeing as nothing really changed while the thing was running and the computer kept restarting nonetheless.

I'll try to check with the motherboard. Mine's Gigabyte 970A-DS3P--So I'm hoping to see if I can download a utility of it on the internet. Though according to Speccy, my MB's temp is usually around 33 deg cel.

Also, I'll have to see with the PSU. If anything, that's probably the problem in the end--hopefully. Cos if not, I don't even know what to do anymore ;;; Thank you for the help though!

...Actually, rather than using OEM software, something like this might be better: http://openhardwaremonitor.org/

Oh thanks! I suppose I should monitor the temperature of the MB while running FF14 before it'll restart, huh?

    --Edit--

Goes to and fro with the current numbers here to max but yeah. That's the average at most while in the log-in and a few seconds in-game.

Well... I only suggested MB because the gaming ones usually have software that monitors everything. MBs aren't usually prone to overheating themselves. Watch the CPU & GPU core temps though.
