Well they said it's like an overall setting. The aura doesn't have a switch on and off button for each and every aura; Darkside, Defiance, Greased Lightning. They just have one big switch for that.

They said if we switch off teh Darkside Aura, we won't see our Greased Lightning and Defiance. They're looking into it to implement a switch for Darkside Aura only.

I suspect this is more of an engine limitation rather than codes or just little thing.

But we have filter effect for "self", "party members" and "others".
So keep "self" and "party member" effects on and you'll see Darkside, Greased Lightning of Defiance for you and the party.
...and you probably don't care about seeing any of those for "other" dozen people idling in town.

This. i can tolerate it when im in a dungeon but when i see a bunch of other darks afking then it's down right annoying, i always turn my Darkside off when exiting.

I would be just fine with putting GL, defiance, and I assume umbral ice/astral fire into the same filter heap.

Non-party members > ALL effects off, that would make me happy
