I see no reason to not continue the mount trend. It can be a pony(since they're supposed to fly eventually anyway) or another species, I don't care. I just want a reason to run (which will be soon to be) older content again.

I hope it's not a pony, we already have too many of those. While I would prefer the new primals to all have completely original mounts, it's unrealistic given that mounts may take a lot of time to develop. I wouldn't mind a new universal mount similar to the pony, which can be recoloured for the use of 3.x primals though. I think a Phoenix (similar to the image below) would work really well with the different colours and effects, but as that's a primal I'm not sure if they're going to use that.

Why not a dragon mount? And I don't mean a recolored version of that certain one you get in the MSQ. Maybe something akin to...Twintania? I prefer them to all be original, but I doubt that'll happen.

It would make very little sense for them to make Fenrir fly, I don't know much about his mythos, but I don't recall that he was able to fly. I don't think they should make mounts fly just for the sake of them being able to fly. It would be just as silly as the turtle mount, direwolf or even the goobbue mount flying. I do think they need to give a reason for us to use ground mounts more often though, maybe they could be utilised in future raids that are on a much larger scale, or dungeons.

if they can make the fat chocobo fly, any mount should be able to fly. gobbue flaps some big leaves. ponies fly because magic. toss a jet engine on behemoth and the riding armor. ezpz
