I'm... not sure what you're asking. If you mean to ask do people still do Frontline, the answer is yes.
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
Everyone's now running the level 60 Frontline at the moment. You might get lucky on getting the level 50 one using the Frontline: Roulette. Though the queuing time may be a bit long.
Is it reset Tuesday yet.
I question whether I'm playing a PvE game with PvP mixed in, or I am I playing a PfG.
I am because I want that sweet armor set.
After that no thanks. I'm terribad at PVP

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
I play it to cap my tomes, but not for anything other than that. Frequent losses due to it being 3 sided is a huge motivation killer, especially when you need 600+ 3rd place to even hit rank 50 for the armour which looks terribad (NIN one), or 200 wins for the ADS mount. Thanks, but no thanks.

ADS mount is only 200. I'm closing in on it rapidly. However, there may be a solution for the forced grouping soon which will both speed up matching and reduce unbalance due to stacking in one Grand Company.
Stacking on one grand company is not a bad thing. It´s actually part or the strategy of the PVP. I personally enjoy employing tactics that rely on holding back then on pushing to use piencer (sp?) manouvers.
I agree. I think having three teams competing at the same time forces you to think of the big picture if you want to win. Using the 3rd grand company to distract or wear down your opponent (while also making sure the tactic isn't successful against you) adds some interesting depth to the matches, depth you don't really find in other MMOs that only pit two teams against each other.
A true paladin... will sheathe his sword.
I started doing Frontlines because the Swansgrace coat was one of the most fabulous things a catboy could ever hope to wear, and accidentally became my FC's official PvP freak XD.
It's funny, because I hated PvP in every other game I've played with it, and fully expected it to be an interminable grind to get high enough to equip the things I wanted, but the large teams and Capture-the-flag-esque format actually made it fun! I'm still a little bitter that they nixed Cleric Stance, since I can't Holyspam entire groups to death anymore, but as long as I can still Fluid Aura people off high things, it's hard not to have fun.
It's also a much less boring means of capping tomes, and a cheap way to level desynthesis, so yay for that.
