I just really want to be able to choose my own stats, that way I can pile on accuracy...Scholar problems...
Oh yeah, in before Relic is i200/i205

That feeling when you haven't even finished your first zodiac because of the company seal bottleneck.
And because you're out of gil.
If you want to keep your sanity DO NOT start relics, lol
I have 2 Zetas and the rest are either Animus or Novus and actually tossed my Nin scroll out i was so fed up of the nonsense
Nope, not doing that.
Have fun though.
Depending on how annoying the beginning phase is (watch us need high level crafted stuff that costs a fortune), this could be a blessing or MEH.In a recent interview Yoshida stated that Zeta owners will be able to skip the starting phase, it's still not 100% though.
Source.
Hopefully I did that right lol
This is probably the most realistic assessment. You will likely have to meld/craft a weapon like the previous quest however if you have zeta you will likely skip past that step.
Overall I'd say doing your relic at this point would be a waste of time unless you want the glamour or just have nothing else to do.
Personally I just wished that the relic was more like the very first relic we did: it was a long, but fun quest line to follow with lots of steps in it and lots of things to do and run, but I never felt it hard the least.
They should try something the same way: more about story (I thought this was Final Fantasy) and less about mindless and frustrating grinding....buuut I already expect the worse of the worse.
I'm going to stay in sheets and tremble of fear as 3.1 will come out. Just like all of the other patches x)
I think i210+ is a safe bet, since that's the top current weapon level. The odd numbered major patches have made top level gear from the previous major patch easy to get. Eso weapon upgrade to i210 will likely come in the new 24 man raid, I don't see relic being weaker than that.
I can almost guarantee the relic will be lvl 200 on release (after you complete the whole quest) and upgraded to 210 at the end of 4.1. That's been the system they've been following to maintain the treadmill and the relic usually hits bis right before the next raid patch comes for like a few weeks and then the next raid will have the best weapon and then a few months later the relic will get another boost and so on and so forth.
