the spire and the new tp bar

As most of us know by now, the upcoming patch will add a tp bar to the party list. I know spire has a rep for "the worst card ever", but now that we'll be able to see our partys tp, we can know who could benefit from a tp boost.
At least this way, we wont be automatically burning it (as much) or throwing it on someone who doesn't need it.

Im not saying spire will be amazing, just ( ever so slightly) less useless.

P.s. could spire (and maybe goad) be the reason they're adding the tp bar in the first place?

There have been requests for a TP bar as far back as 2.0, since Bards have always had Army's Paeon, and we've known for awhile they were working on the UI for it. They probably just saw it as more of a priority since 4 classes can now restore party TP in some fashion or another as opposed to just one or two.

It happens, lol. As for how it will affect Spire, I think it'll be easier to use, but I doubt it will really get more popular (unless there are further changes to it). Random TP regen just isn't all that exciting (especially when BRDs will probably be playing Paeon regardless during raids at some point, unless you draw enough Spires to cover every physical DPS and the tanks).

It's really not a bad card and I definitely wouldn't call it the worst card ever, (that would be Spear) but I'm sure it'll get used more by other players now that it's easier to determine who needs what. It'll probably also end up getting tossed on the odd caster now and again when they use Sprint as well.. XD
