    Machinist Quality Of Life Request to the DEVS :)

    Please change the turrets to act the same as other pets with a pet bar that has follow, place, etc. commands. I find it to be obnoxious to have to constantly place down my turret, especially in moving fights like Steps of Faith.

    I wouldn't mind that, though they've said its not a pet class. It's especially annoying when you put down a Bishop turret and the tank proceeds to pull them out of the AoE. You then have to waste time canceling and aiting for the cooldown before you can replace it.

    I kinda like it this way instead of the summoner pet. It's place and forget. There's far too many skills to hotkeys for me to able to keybind pet actions.

    I think he's just talking makingi t able to follow you, which would be fine TBH. no extra skills, you an just place/forget, but if you move out of its range it'll follow

    Not sure it needs a pet bar, as it doesn't really have more than a single function

    Wouldn't mind if it followed but it's redeployed easily enough as is so not sure it really needs that either

    However, I would very much like it to move back to wherever I originally threw it should it get hit by a knock-back. Or, failing that, have their attacks (or at least just Rook's) be a 1.5s cast instead of instant so that there's a clear UI element showing that it's still in attack range. Can be kinda hard to see where it's been thrown to sometimes to see if it's still sparking and can't always hear the very distinct attack sound over all the other explosions n' what.

    Hmm maybe have them hover to the side of the MCH and change Turret Retrieval to a version of the pet bar "place+heel" command's that allows you to set it in spot and would call it back when recast.

    This way it is still "place and forget" but also allow's for specific placement when wanted without adding any more abilites to the class. The extra bonus is it turns Turret Retrieval into something useful ^^

    Is this really an issue at all? The utility and freedom we currently have in placing our turrets wherever we want with no cost and/or concern for pet actions is one of our greatest assets. It's place and forget. And it isn't broken, so it doesn't need a fix.

    If you want a pet class, there is Summoner/Scholar for that.

    No-one is saying turrets are broken -_-

    It is a quality of life change as turrets are just one more thing to have to manage ontop of the other things a MCH has to keep track of. Lets face it "place and forget" is not strictly true, I for one am constantly checking if my turret is still up/been knocked around/in range etc.

    A pet hotbar is overkill but there is nothing wrong with having a place+follow type action though, it would help in every aspect of the game PvP and PvE without fundamentally changing MCH playstyle...

    I swear people are so defensive over nothing...

    The quality of life / buff I'd like is for Procced Clean Shot to generate 1 ammo and/or give the combo treatment to Split Shot (+potency, instant cast)
