Is it really that important for you to look/feel awesome just utterly annhilating the 2% that's left by the time you're done casting? I use it as soon as it pops cause then you start building the gauge again. The sad part is, I've had people get pissed at me for it. Ranged LBs are great to obliterate a big pull or to LB pull certain bosses.

    LB is more than just a "finsher" It's why you get so many DPS sitting on a full LB bar for the duration of the dungeon Which is pointless. As it regens between bosses on trash. As they treat it too much as a finisher.

    This in normal dungeons it's more usefull to LB a large pull of trash than shave a few % off a boss that is faceroll anyways.

    I just wish they'd make the tank/healer lbs get more use. It was silly for them to redesign the LB3s so everyone's is unique when the only one ever used predominantly is the DPS (usually melee) limit break.

    I'd rather have my own limit break bar.

    Get a brd or mch in your party. I rarely see the LB bar full for long.

    I really, REALLY wish people didn't think like this.
    I don't need someone doing a LB that takes off 8% of the bosses HP when the boss has 2% HP left.
    More people need to start using LBs as soon as they are available, so we have a chance of building a second one, or even better, using AOE LB's to clear off large pulls to just speed up the whole process.

    Trying to be the flashy hero that saves the day isn't winning you any points in my book, DPS. I often will use the tank LB if the boss falls to 5% HP only to remind you of this.

    What annoys me currently is it doesn't seem designed to fill in time during the last boss fights to be useful. As a dragoon it's usually my job to use it in dungeons unless there is a 2nd melee. You go into the fight with 1 bar full and by time you can fill the 2nd one it's a waste because the boss is almost dead already. End up waiting too long thinking it will fill then I feel like an idiot for not just using the 1 bar earlier. For the other bosses where you only get 1 bar I try to use it immediately. But I kind of wish it would become the norm to have ranged use their lb on large trash pulls instead. Seems like a better use to me but nobody ever does it.

    Feel like you never did coil. There were several fights that, when you were the appropriate gear level, you would be able to limit break multiple times.

    Turn 10 comes to mind. You had to do a caster LB3 and then later on you'd do a melee LB3.

    Yeah trying to use LB as the killing blow is wasteful. Please do it sooner so the FULL damage hits.

    I know my highest is only level 55, but... When was the last time you saw an LB3 in LotA, or ST? Used to be neat to see 3 LB3's go off in there. But, we've severely over geared the place for a very long time now. That plays into not filling up LB bars for a lot of dungeons.

    Coil 1 Turn 2. ADS, as soon as enrage hits, use that LB3. It used to be enough time towards the end to get off another LB1. Now, again, because we over geared the place, usually not enough time for even that.

    I hate doing boss fights where people wait until its at 1% so lb will finish it. Such a waste. So many lb just don't get used either. Melee lb or gtfo.
