Visually maybe everything is the same for some people but technically is not the same at all. There is a reason full screen mode exists and you can Google it if you don't know the differences I will not write wall of texts here to explain why they differ. Any windowed mode does not fully replace the full screen mode. Full screen mode must be fixed for this game.
