Tend to agree with op.

If any entry is emailed they should set up an auto "noreply" confirmation that they received it. It would completely rule out any confusion or worry about it not going through.

I have little faith in SEs email and things like this can happen to the best email programs, im sure it has happened to everyone at one point. A fix is easy.

I agree that the op may have not been chosen as the reason he hasnt seen it,..but thats not the point, hes concerned if it even arrived which IS always a guess.

I havent entered any of these contests but did in ffxi for the shield and there was no confirmation that it went through, its quite is annoying and kinda tacky for such a large company.

For a company that utterly thrives on confirmation after confirmation after confirmation in their games.....errrr

A simple auto sent reply "Ty for your entry" is all it would take.

Wouldve been nice to at least recieve (even if automated) a response/receipt to acknowledge the email. I too am concerned they didnt recieve my entry (or the follow up email I sent to let them know I changed my characters ingame name)

Glad that this got some replies tho. OP, was your transition art contest shown in broadcast? I dunno about the hairstyle, but i'm pretty sure they showed everyone's entries for the transition art.

Mine was in the slideshow and that's about the -ONLY- confirmation i got from SE that my submission even got thru. which was kinda meh given how its organized by SE themselves, i was expecting more confirmation replies etc.

It was there! I was so relieved. I didn't see the entry before watchig carefully through the broadcast now. I was previously only aware of the hairstyle art entries they had shown.

And since I sent my hairstyle art submissions from the same mail address I sent the HW art submission from, I'm assuming they've indeed received all my contest entries.

It seems I worried for nothing! Sorry for every doubting you, Square Enix.
