At max level, the bonus is pitiful. As I'll be tanking anyway (no other 60s yet) I usually get it, but I don't notice that I have as the gil reward is tiny and the extra seals barely noticeable compared to the seals you get from sldungeon drops. Whilst levelling I didn't notice it. I didn't find that my WAR levelled any faster than my SCH when I took that to 54 without AiN.

A possible solution to this would be unique tokens to encourage people to join duties as the AiN. Alternatively a substantial bonus to the experience gained so as to make AiN a much more efficient way to level than FATEs will likely encourage people on alt jobs to use Duty Finder.

I think one of the other ways to help would be to make tanks feel like tanks from early on. Most MMOs I've played will define roles early, for instance giving low level ranks their tank stance. FFXIV is the only game where tank stance is limited to mid level. This in turn makes tanking low level dungeons an unpleasant experience due to agro holding issues (it's not hard if experienced, but for a new tank it can be challenging, especially if dps decide to split focus). In my opinion if tanks were to really feel like tanks, rather than rubbish dps, from the outset it might encourage people to stick with them a little more. I personally feel that shield oath/defiance/grit should be level 15 abilities.
I like your last point the most, because that's a way to try and entice players to play as tanks because they like it, not because they get rewards for it. They can't make the rewards for playing a tank too big... It shouldn't feel like you're forced to play a tank too. They should make the tank role interesting enough in it self. You also get the fast queues, which is enough when it comes to "rewards" for playing a tank.
