Ever consider that those tanks most likely have that attitude because they were treated like crap by dps and healers constantly?

So tanks are jerks to dps/heals because dps/heals were jerks to tanks because tanks were jerks...
Eh fuck it. How about we just say people should be responsible for their own behavior? If you're a jerk, you're a jerk. Not "because of [other guy who was a jerk first]. Because you were a jerk.
When in doubt, assume sarcasm
Based on this logic Healers are the #1 jerks. if we go by who was treated badly. ever been blamed for people dying even tho you had nothing to do with their deaths? tank died because he dosn't know how to use CDs? or dosn't move out of AOEs. Hell, Healers are downright EVIL.
I am on Behemoth and I have near instant ques on tank and healer is always around 5 minutes or less. Dps is a crap shoot and really depends on what content you are trying to do. Popular stuff still ques fast as dps but obscure stuff can be brutal.
PvP ques for Adders on Behemoth are great and I am loving me some PvP and finally getting to rank up and enjoy it now that they have a good version in SEAL ROCK.
With everything we have to level right now I don't actually mind wait times and actually wish I did to get more stuff in while waiting.

People in general stop using the DF for assorted reasons, and others start using it. If at endgame 5% of tanks decide to stop using it and 5% of DPS decide to stop using it... given that tanks are what... 19% of the playerbase and average level is under 20 (how is that possible 2 years in?)... Well that's going to hurt queue times for DPS more than it hurts queue times for tanks.
The DF queue benefits when DPS leave it - good or bad, polite or rude. If we're just talking about the queue, the less DPS the better.
But it gets hurt if tanks or healers step out - there just aren't enough of them to begin with.

Okay, fine. I'll actually bother to give a serious response to something on this cesspit of a forum for once.
DPS are typically left alone because a large majority of players aren't observant enough to notice a DPS being lazy/doing dumb things... which is a shame, because that means they get away with it and continue to drag groups down. Seriously, don't join content through the duty finder if you're just going to be lazy and/or you've never even bothered to read your jobs skill descriptions. I mean, really now? Really?
Healers are typically not bothered unless the party wipes because as long as they aren't dying, most players don't care what the healer is doing. And no, I'm not saying healers don't get blamed for things they weren't the cause of, so don't even start.
Tanks are by far the most likely to get yelled at, regardless of what skill level they are playing at. Because hey, guess what? Tanks are obvious. Tanks control the general flow of a dungeon, it's their job. Everyone can see what the tank is doing, it's the most visible role in the game in terms of the impact it has on a fight.
You could be the best tank in the game and it wouldn't matter, because as soon as you did something using a method that someone else in the party doesn't know, they might get annoyed and start yelling at you. Even if what you did was a smarter thing to do than what they were expecting.
Oh, and by the way, I've tried giving nicely worded/presented constructive advice to players of all roles, and you know what I usually got?
Silence.
"Shut up."
"fk u i play how i want"
Vote kicked.
You want to know what the real problem is? It isn't a specific role. It isn't a specific job. It's just a portion of the general playerbase being jerks. A lot of them are just jerks by default. Maybe some others get a kick out of trolling people. Some of them were simply just having a bad day, I'll fully admit I've been guilty of that.
Tanks are typically the most visible role in the game, and therefore the most likely to be yelled at about something... anything. So go ahead, keep claiming tanks that have gotten tired of being yelled at are the problem, it won't change the fact that the real problem isn't tied to a specific role, or job.
PS - I main dark knight, and I don't avoid going into DF solo. Not everyone in there is nasty, and I've met a lot of cool/amusing people doing so.

Do you mean just like how many, many tanks don't check their parties gear levels, then proceed to pull every single enemy they can possibly pull, only to NOT use any cool downs at all to mitigate the insane damage their taking, then pull attitude on the healer when they die for being bad? Is that what you mean?
Or maybe you mean those instances where tanks drop the second the duty begins because they don't like the dungeon Duty Finder chose for them?
Good job ignoring everything else I said, nice to see it was all a wasted effort. Bye.
