Queue times for content getting long?

I stopped tanking in DF due to the rudeness of players. Don't care if others are rude of other classes or tanks are rude. I do not have to party with jerks and so I stopped. Community is extremely abnoxious right now, so I personally will just tank for my friends. This behavior should change to a more caring community to promote learning and fun. For now I am one tank that won't use the DF as a tank.

For me,All Roullete took around 5 - 15 mins as DPS except High level though .. 15 - 30 mins ..

Interesting you mentioned this. I've been compiling a list of the number of times tanks were treated like crap during DF. This information spans all data centers. Below are my findings:

Being as I main DPS, a 5-10 minute average queue time is pretty damned fast.

I've noticed that, whenever I'm on my healer instead of my tank, my queue times start getting horrendously long, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, even sometimes 20 minutes.

And DPS queues, well, just lol.

Meanwhile, my tank queues are instant. Anyone else noticing this gradually getting worse, or am I just unlucky?

5 to 10 minutes? Standing in line at the grocery store takes that long. Personally I feel that as long as the queue is under 30 minutes, I find that to be a reasonable time to find a group. Don't get me wrong, waiying 30 minutes sucks big time! I just don't mind having to wait that long because there are a million other things I can do while I wait. The only thing I have beef with is the fact that I can't summon my chocobo.

It's likely more and more tanks are reaching the finishing line for currency grind and have no more need to revisit the dungeons except for a few roulettes. That's what happened with me when I was tanking back pre-expansion. People would ask me to tank for them, but I just couldn't handle the punishment anymore!

I have not done a single ex roulette since the expansion dropped. I've been leveling a dos sub job to run it as, but in the meantime I've just been farming my tomes from Alex and PvP.

As a Tank main leveling a Healer (AST), Nothing frustrates me more than having to heal full STR tanks in places like Sohm Al when they think they're invincible and pull several packs at once. And then never use a cooldown ever, even when i throw a 40 second Spear on them.

I keep it out of Party and just bitch to my Linkshells, but i usually find its the Tanks who're the first to start whining when something goes wrong. Very rarely have i seen quality Tanks in the DF lately, and I'll always tell them they did good when i do get them.

I don't hate tanks any more than i hate Healers or DPS. And i don't often see others attacking Tanks out of hand. It's only when they do something particularly stupid.

I'm finding queues on my SCH are getting as long as they were for me when I first started playing as an Arcanist (DPS). It's not unusual to queue for something like Expert Roulette and have it say "less than 5m" and be still sitting there at 10m, when it changes to "around 11m". The final pop being at 20m or more. That's for content being run a *lot*. For other content, like PVP it can be considerably longer, if it pops at all. Alex Normal is the only content that, as a healer, I'm likely to guarantee getting in.
